Inspiration 100: Recap and pictures

The 2012 Inspiration 100 is done! Congratulations to everyone who lined up and took on a tremendous challenge. Thank you to all volunteers, sponsors, the Garfield school, and anyone else who helped make this happen. This would not have happened without a lot of help, and we are extremely grateful.

When we were putting this event together, we chose the name Inspiration 100 because the heart of the course is around Inspiration Peak, without giving much thought to what the word "inspiration" really means. After seeing what you did on the course, and getting to spend time with you and your families after you finished, we walked away truly inspired. Inspired by the fast riders to go faster, inspired by the riders who completed their first gravel century to keep trying new things, inspired by the riders who were pushing themselves to just get to the finish line, whatever the cost. We are still jacked by what all of you did on Saturday, and honored that you chose to spend the day with us, both during and after the race.

Please keep us in mind for next year. We would love to have you back to do it again. This event will always be on the first Saturday after Labor Day, which will be on September 7, 2013 next year.
